The context

Cafés Cowboy is a premium coffee brand that focuses on high-quality, sustainable coffee, offering products designed for eco-conscious urban adventurers who value both craftsmanship and portability.

The brand emphasizes portability, craftsmanship and a deep connection with nature, which is why it offers a range of products such as organic, wood-fired roasted Ethiopian coffee, portable brewing systems and eco-friendly wooden mugs.

The chalenge

The goal was to develop a brand identity and logo that effectively communicates Cafés Cowboy‘s core values: authenticity, craftsmanship, and a nomadic spirit. That is why the logo it needed to reflect the brand’s rustic, nature-inspired ethos while appealing to a contemporary, urban audience.

Balancing the traditional elements with a modern aesthetic, the design had to encapsulate both warmth and premium quality in a way that stands out in the competitive coffee industry.

The Solution

For the brand identity design, I created a logo that blends traditional totem pole imagery, that symbolize the sacred connection between man and nature.

I also decided to use elements that reflect the nomadic and rustic lifestyle of Cafés Cowboy: A campfire flame was incorporated to evoke warmth, community, and adventure. Also, the subtle inclusion of a steaming coffee cup reinforces the brand’s focus on quality coffee without being too evident.

The color palette is inspired by the earthy tones of the Wild West. It complements the brand’s sustainable and premium coffee offerings.

This logo solution successfully merges the brand’s nature-driven roots, with a contemporary and urban design. This way, the image shows the essence of Cafe Cowboy and sets it apart in the world of high-end coffee branding.

The results

The new brand image clearly communicates the brand’s core values. It strengthens the brand’s presence by combining a unique, nature-inspired design with a modern, urban touch.

This logo enhances the brand’s appeal to its target audience, making it instantly recognizable and memorable. It also helps position Cafés Cowboy as a premium, sustainable coffee brand, setting it apart from competitors.

With a strong visual identity, the brand now has a cohesive presence across all touchpoints.
